Farewell

Hello again everyone! I just got home from a little party at Mike's... it was the last time I will be seeing several of the attendees, so I am feeling a little nostalgic. Goodbye to you all, hope to see you at Thanksgiving. For those who will not be at Commencement, try to get to Markham Bowl.

Welcome to The Chamber

It seems I have finally yielded to temptation and created a Blog. It is not (I tell myself) an act of hopeless self indulgence, rather it has behind it some noble purpose: as I will be heading off to university at the end of the week, I decided a Blog would be a good way to stay in touch with my friends and relatives. Despite my desires and intentions, I won't be able to keep up relations with you all as much as I would like. Therefore, if ever you are interested to see how I am faring at the good old University of Ottawa, just pop into The Chelsea Chamber and see for yourself.
The Chamber will by no means be a diary. I tried keeping a diary once and the poor book failed miserably (this was in the fourth grade and I made a grand total of two entries). Besides, as much as I'm sure you all love me I don't think you care to hear: "Nothing happened today. I went to my Philosophy lecture. That was fun. Had pasta for dinner." So rather than a dull narrative The Chelsea Chamber will contain Late Breaking News Items (!), objects of personal interest... and posts where I just feel I have something to say.
I don't fancy myself much of a writer (yet), but on occasion some of my scribblings are likely to make it through the iron-strapped door of my self-consciousness and into the The Chamber itself. I suppose we'll have to see, now won't we?
So! Feel free to comment, tell me how you're doing, let me know you've been reading up on me! Not only will it be flattering to know that you've graced The Chelsea Chamber, but it will help with the mission of my little Blog to stay in touch. Thanks for reading.
